On the surface, Justin Bieber and Eminem have about as much in common as Heidi Montag and Mother Theresa.

Bieber doesn’t have any children, hasn’t penned any threatening lyrics about his ex-wife and has never entered rehab for a painkiller addiction.

But the 16-year old is considered by many to be the world’s biggest pop star, while Eminem has often enjoyed the same recognition within the rapping community.

Need more similarities? Both stars have also released albums that have dominated the music charts, and, ummm, they’re Caucasian.

They might also both anchor biopics, as Bieber tells the latest issue of Teen Vogue: “We’re trying to set up a movie for me in the near future – it’s going to be similar to the story of how I got discovered. Kinda like my own version of 8 Mile.”

Bieber didn’t say that he’ll star in the film, but this weekend’s Saturday Night Live gave us a glimpse at his burgeoning acting skills. They aren’t shabby.

Ke$ha dissed Britney Spears earlier this month for her lip syncing tendencies. But the mouthy upstart also gave props to the princess of pop in an interview.

In her chat with So You Think You Can Dance Australia, Ke$ha talked about her song “Styrofoam,” and its lyric “In 10 years, Britney Spears. Britney, who?”

Another apparent diss? Maybe not. “Just to clarify, I didn’t write that bit,” Ke$ha said, “I was 15, and there is a reason that song’s not on my record. I have to admit now I ever regret even singing that because I have mad respect for her.”

Ke$ha also Tweeted an apology to Justin Bieber for that joke she made about breast feeding him in Maxim, writing “dear justin b i am so sorry if my bad joke hurt your feelings. u r obviously talented and i never mean7 to offend u. i think u r rad.”

Aww. Ke$ha has gone soft on us!

Ke$ha respects the pop goddess that is Britney after all.

Meanwhile, Britney Spears and her agent/boyfriend Jason Trawick were seen leaving his place Tuesday. Looks like all those breakup rumors were ... rumors.

Which is a good thing. First Ke$ha's apology and clarification, now a sighting of a happy Spears with her boyfriend? A very good day to be on Team Britney.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, The Last Song co-stars and SO much more, made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Hollywood premiere of their movie.

Dressed in Calvin Klein, Liam joked that life got a little tougher after Cyrus confessed to Ellen DeGeneres that she fell for him after he opened a door for her.

"After all that, there's so much pressure for me to be opening doors for everyone now," the Australian stud muffin told E! Online. "It's just too much pressure."

Liam Hemsworth is still adjusting to the attention from female fans, who have been chasing after him when he attends premieres and screenings, and so forth.

"That was my first experience of the craziness," he said. "It's flattering. Funny, too."

LAST SONG HOTNESS: Miley and Liam debut as a couple.

Next stop on The Last Song PR tour is Europe with premieres next month in London, Rome and Munich. Let's just hope Liam and Miley are still together by then.

"I lost him so, he's not being the best boyfriend right now," Cyrus, who also performed on American Idol this week, joked after getting separated from her man.

"The whole deal was we were going to be walking together," the 17-year-old added. "But then I lost him first thing because he started saying hello to everyone."

Yeesh. Better step it up, Liam.

Looks like teen queen Miley Cyrus wasn't joking when she said recently how it was time for her to exit the music business and focus on acting.

She recently revealed on The View that she's become a bit disheartened because "the music industry isn't as positive as I would like it to be."

Much like when she deleted her Twitter and did not return to the social media site despite harsh criticism, Cyrus is sticking to her guns here.

"I've got a record coming out in June, then I'm done," she said. "I just want to work in movies. That's what I like and what I want to be doing."

Her new film The Last Song, opening this week, is Miles' first acting project outside of Hannah Montana, and co-stars her new boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

Miley and Liam made a splash on the red carpet last week, and while he may be a tad biased, he says he wasn't surprised that Cyrus held her own acting.

"You know how she feels when she's feeling down and you know how she feels when she is feeling up," he said. "She's always a very expressive person."

"That really works on the screen, and she's really good."
